Review: Fantastic product, not-so-great product packaging...

I have been using this exfoliating rice powder for a year or two. I use it every other morning in the shower to wash my face. Its gentle and works extremely well with my skin.
The only complaint I have is with the product's packaging. At the top of the metal-lined canister is a plastic snap-on disc which you rotate for three settings: two for pouring and one for sprinkling. Here's the thing -- I was using this product in the shower, so eventually water leaked in rusting the metal-lining of the canister and causing bits of the powder to get stuck in the plastic disc literally sealing it shut so I couldn't rotate it any more.
I went to L'Occitane and told them that I love the powder, but the canister doesn't work well in the shower... and the woman looked at me and said, "well -- its not meant to be used in the shower." Hmmm... A face wash that shouldn't be used in the shower?
Anyway -- I came up with my own solution: I bought a "powder jar with sifter" at Sephora... So now I add only a little bit of the rice powder at a time into the powder jar and then I can use it in the shower no problem. That way if it gets accidentally wet -- I haven't wasted all of it!
I wanted to write this little review cause I think its worth the extra trouble (which is why I gave it 5 stars... Truthfully this exfoliating rice powder is worth 5 stars even if L'Occitane's packaging isn't... and since I found a way to get around the crappy packaging -- I still want to recommend the product).

I have Rosacea and have to be careful with my skin. I have been using this every few days, and it makes my skin look really good, with my pores cleaner and appearing to be smaller. It doesn't dry out my skin and I'm really glad I tried it! Review: its similar to Japense washing grains
