Review: Cream works great on gardener's hands, but smell is a bit commercial for me

This is one of the most effective hand creams I have found. I'm a professional landscaper, and my hands get thrashed. But nobody knows that, because each night I exfoliate and moisturize heavily so that I can still have nice hands.
This is a wonderful cream because it sinks in, doesn't sting cracked skin, and really provides long-lasting protection and healing. One tube lasts forever, in fact I usually get the gift set of small tubes of L'Occitane hand creams just for some variety, and I find that the three small tubes easily last me the year.
The two things I dislike are the scent, which smells a bit like old-lady cold cream - not unpleasant, but a bit more perfumey than I like, and the cap, which is fiddly and hard to get back on once you've moisturized your hands.
Other than that, this is a highly effective cream that works great for healing hands that have been in the dirt.

I love the smell and the fact that it moisturizes skin without greasy feeling. A little goes long way and I have my tube for months. Sometimes I use it for a super dry skin under my knees and it does wonders. Simply the best hand cream I've used. Review: Luxurious and moisturizing lotion

This is a great treat for your hands. It's a bit expensive, but it's definitely a luxurious lotion. Will definitely buy again. Also, the scent is very light, and blends in well with any perfume I'm wearing. Review: Not a gardeners hand cream BUT

I garden a lot so I need a really good hand cream . Even though I like this cream , it does not stand up to rough gardening hands. In my opinion , it requires a lot to moisturize efficiently BUT as an every day cream for normal use , it is good. The price is a good value being that you can purchase it in a smaller tube if you would like to just try it 1st.. Nice scent : Not too over whelming. Rich texture and feel. takes a bit to soak in . Over all a good cream. If I didn't need a product that works better for gardening hands , I would purchase this hand Cream.
