I was skeptical that a whitening lotion can really get rid of the brown spots on my face and arms that I've lived with for years (though I'm not THAT old -- 42 -- but genetically prone to brown spots and made worse by living in the sunny Southwestern desert). My mother bought me this product from overseas so it's packaged very differently but, since it has the same name, I feel qualified to rate and review this product. I first tried it on my arms because I have sensitive skin on my face. After less than a week, I swear I see the spots getting lighter by the day, if not hour! I keep looking at my arms because I thought, hmmm, maybe my brown spots were not that brown to start with. But I know they were pretty bad because I've been bothered greatly by them (even considered laser treatment) and have been embarrassed to show my arms, especially to younger friends/colleagues. In any case, I decided to try it on my face and, sure enough, the brown spots around my mouth started getting lighter as well. I started my brown spot treatment with Olay's Definity Anti-Spot Treatment but now I'm sold on this L'Oreal product. This works a lot faster than the Olay product. Review: What kind of price is this?

Don't get me wrong; I LOVE this cream. But this price point is ridiculous. I paid $19.95 and I bought it from an Amazon vendor. Customers: Don't pay $59.95! It's outrageous.
2/9/10 After I wrote the above review, seller dropped price by $20! That shows how much flexibility there was in the price. There must be more, as I purchased it in December for $19.95.
P.S. L'Oreal is not listing this product on its website here in the US, so maybe the company is no longer making it; too bad.
