These pins are the best for three reasons: They're the right size, they're lightweight and practically invisibie, and the smooth ends do not catch or break hair. I've had long hair all my life and wear it in a large, loose bun on top. Now that it's finer (as I'm older) I'm so pleased with these bobby pins! They hold my hair securely, gently and are easy to remove. They could also be used to keep rollers in place, though my personal recommendation is for creating up-swept hair do's, especially for longer hair. Great find!
