This product was originally recommended to me about 25 years ago by one of the most respected dermatologists in New York City, who was both a practicing physician and professor at NYU Medical Center (he was so highly regarded that my regular dermatologist, an excellent doctor in his own right, actually referred his own father to this man as a patient).
I needed a moisturizer, but one that was light, not greasy, and had only a very faint, pleasant scent. Lacticare filled the bill perfectly, and I've used it ever since. While it's certainly more costly than most over-the-counter moisturizing lotions (the price offered here on Amazon's site is likely the best you'll find for it anywhere), if you're very particular about what you put on your skin, then Lacticare may be as ideal a choice for you as it's been for me.
