I've been using Lancome Definicils mascara for 5 years, and it is the only non-waterproof mascara that does not give me even a hint of "raccoon eyes" at the end of the day. LOVE this mascara! Review: The only mascara I will use -- the brush is what makes it great

I'm a big fan of Lancome products having used them since high school. However, I kept hearing and reading that the grocery store brands were just as good for a fraction of the price.
So I tried Maybelline and the other brands that you'll find in the Grocery store but they all clumped, had huge fat brushes which would wind up my eyelid instead of eyelashes.
I've since returned to Lancome and will not wander again. The brush is small enough that I can control where it goes. It doesn't wear off and leave dark circles by the end of the day. I haven't had any problems with clumping or cleaning it off even though I just normal cleanser and water in the evening. I also like the fact that it comes in black-brown so that it blends with my coloring better than pure black or pure brown.
It is worth the extra money and it last long enough that the net increase in cost is minimal.
