Review: very versatile

I have been using this product for a week now before I decided to review it. I am from the middle east, so my skin tone is darker than caucasians. I decided to get the "sand" tone. It gave me a bronzed look if used on its own. An SPF of 20 might be enough for Europe or America, however, here in the middle east a daily SPF of 50+ is the standard.
I started mixing in a little of the tinted moisturizer with my daily "Avene moisturizing sunblock SPF 50+". The result was perfect. Just the right colour tone, and great coverage despite the fact that I diluted a few drops of the tinted moisturizer into my daily sunblock. So instead of Laura Mercier lasting for a month, maybe it would last 6 months because of mixing it in. In the evenings if I wanted a bronzed look I would put it on by itself. The look is dewy and natural. Never cakey!
I will buy this again and again. But the only thing I would do differently is get a lighter shade. My friend says to try the illuminating tinted moisturizer also. After trying this Laura Mercier product I would definitely get the illuminating one also. This is my new favourite!
