I bought this as a wedding-treat for myself. I wore flowers for the wedding itself, but the coloring and the prettiness of the clip always remind me of the occasion.
I have a good amount of medium-long fine hair, and the clip easily pulls half up. It can actually hold all the hair, though I don't know if that's a good idea for long periods of time.
The clip is very pretty, especially in darker-colored hair. The weight is decent. No one would mistake it for a diamond and ivory piece, but it's sparkly and dressy enough for work. I think it will last me years and years. The lilies are fairly three-dimensional, which make a difference if you anticipate a lot of time with your head near a headrest.
