I love this item because I wanted a mirror that would be about to withstand being in my gym bag with all the jostling and not shatter. This mirror comes with a *thick plastic back, and *thick plastic cover that makes it almost impossible to break it with normal bangs and bumps from dropping your bag onto benches or counters carelessly like most of us usually do. I will say this thing is a lot bigger than I thought it would be and had I known, I would have gotten a smaller size but I'm EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH IT :)
