Product reviews of MD Skincare Renew & Maintain Kit Review: Best skincare system I've ever used! Beauty product: 5 Stars
I have spent so much money on scrubs, peels, masks you name it I've tried it. The MD Skincare kit showed results in 2 days! My sunspots are fading, blotches evening out; the whole routine only takes a few minutes a day, and is remarkable how my skin is actually glowing like it did in my 20's. I have already bought 4 more months supply and plan to keep this system and the MD Skincare brand in my routine. WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!
Review: Mixed bag Beauty product: 3 Stars
Yes, the Alpha/Beta Peel makes my skin feel really nice...but on the other hand a few days of Neutrogena's "Pore Refining Toner" (which is alpha/beta hydroxy plus salicylic acid) on a slightly textured cotton pad does the exact same thing. Another reviewer said this was OK because she still got 30 applications for $49.99, but with the Neutrogena toner, you get something like 100 applications for $7.99. This is a no-brainer to me. The only situation where I might be tempted to repurchase these is during long travel, where I wouldn't want to pack a bottle of toner for fear of spilling.
Review: No better than a drugstore toner Beauty product: 2 Stars
I purchased this product during a special. The elaborate claims did not come true for me. It does no better then a bottle of generic drugstore toner.
Review: Pricey, but good at reducing sun damage Beauty product: 4 Stars
I discovered this product when I was getting chemical peels at a Facelogic salon to reverse sun damage to my complexion. I've given up the salon visits for economic reasons, but continue to get this product because it's the best thing I've found so far in that regard.
I've tried bleaching creams in the past with no visible results. This product works because the pads contain alpha/beta hydroxy acids, which exfoliate the outer layer of the skin, along with the excess pigmentation caused by sun damage. My freckles and other discolorations have started to fade. This product also minimizes fine lines, clears up minor break-outs, and smooths out my skin texture, while the serum helps even out skin tone and gives a dewy finish.
At $95, it's pricey, but the kit also includes the serum. By using every other day instead of daily, you can stretch out the 30 applications over a longer period of time and get a little more use out of them for your money. Also, the pads have a tendency to stick together, so make sure you separate them so you're not inadvertently using more than one.
If my shaky economic situation continues, I might try the Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner that other reviewers have recommended, but for now I'm satisfied with this product.
