Review: Hair Gets Caught In Spring, Are Not Strong

These are huge, which was fine since I was using them on thick curly hair and was also hoping to use these to hold velcro rollers in place. Despite the size, these are the weakest clips I've ever used. They keep popping off the rollers, so I can't use them for that purpose. I also can't use them to hold hair in place because as big as they are, they hold very little before slipping off. On top of being useless, these catch hair in the spring so instead of simply squeezing the clip and sliding off, I have to rip my hair out of the spring.
The shipping for these is highway robbery. I do not recommend these at all.

These work well-- I wish they were a little stronger (I have very thick hair) but their performance is far superior to that of the tiny silver clips I was getting at the supermarket. I suspect there might be a slightly superior product out there but not for a reasonable price and these get the job done. I recommend them. Review: naturally curly out west

i have long heavy curly hair. these clips work great for lifting at the roots while air or diffuser drying, holding back hair from face wet or dry, pinning/styling hair up, etc. and since my hair is very dark, the black ones ore not even noticeable when in my hair (great because it takes hours to air dry). i use 4 or 6 at a time. they could be a little stronger, but really work well as they are. my favorite "curly hair" clip so
