3 1/2 yr old sucked her thumb a lot. with in 2 wks she stopped. First four days she would wake up or start to go to sleep with the taste in her mouth a little bit of juice would help take away the taste. She never cried about it she just would say I have the yucky taste in my mouth and we would take care of it. I explained to her before using it what it was and what would happen if she sucked her thumb. very quick and effective. Review: works real good

My son is almost 5. He has sucked his thumb since he was in the womb. I seriously had doubts, and guilt, over using a product to take away his method of self soothing. I decided the benefits would greatly out weigh the negatives when we were all continuously sick this past year. Santa brought this product to my son as an early gift with the promise of a big reward on christmas morning if he was successful and committed to changing this behavior. It literally took two days. He was so proud of himself too. We all really love this product, my husband even started using it on his nails. It has been two months and every now and again he puts his thumb in his mouth, but we are diligent in putting the stuff on it whenever we notice him sucking, which is maybe 3 times in the last month. He doesn't fight it either, he actually sticks his thumb out so we can apply it. The best part? We have all been healthy for the past 2 months! Review: wroked great!

really worked!!! tasted bad enough that both my 6 yr old and 4 yr old stopped sucking their thumbs! loved it. (the organic cayenne pepper one didn't work, too easy to suck it off)
