Review: great as baby lotion and diaper rash cream too!

This lanolin cream is soft and easy to spread, unlike the other brand. It is good for the breasts for breastfeeding, but it has other uses too. I use it on my baby's raw parts when he has diaper rash and it clears it up quickly, without making it too dry. Plus, I use it on my baby's face checks when they are dry and it works great here too. I figure, if it's safe enough for a baby to get in his mouth, it is safe enough to apply on his face (without the chemicals usually in lotion). Review: smooth and easy to use

i used the lansinoh lanolin for the first few months of breastfeeding and it worked fine. the only thing i wasn't crazy about was that the cream comes out really thick and you have to mush it around with your fingers for a few seconds before applying to your breasts. the medela cream comes out really smooth from the get go and you don't need to heat it with your fingers before applying. it's a small thing and i guess it's just a personal preference but i like the medela better than the lansinoh.
nursing cream is an absolute necessity when you're pumping. it really helps to smear some medela cream on before pumping. i tried pumping without first putting cream on and it was really painful.
