I have a scar on my forehead from a bike accident 4 months ago. I applied this really regularly for a month, and I've haven't been good about applying regularly since. I must say, that considering I had 11 stitches on my face, this year, the scar looks AWESOME. Its a scar, and this isn't Harry Potter, it isn't going to magically disappear, but with a little diligence it's totally worth it. I feel like every week that i apply it even just once or twice a day it gets better. BTW, the plastic surgeon who did my stitches said the most important thing was to protect the scar from sun, every day, for a year. I would splurge for the SPF version of this product if your scar is in a place that will get some sun. Review: Works!

I have a giant surgery scar on my neck, right after my surgery I started using Mederma to help the scarring. It helped it heal a little faster, hurt a little less and has significantly lightened it after consistent months of use. I would highly recommend this, it doesn't do miracles, but if use it on fresh scars consistently you will notice more lightening. I plan on buying my second tube soon.
