Review: A list scent, D list staying power

I admit it: I was initially drawn to this product solely because of the name and the awesome packaging. As a celebrity gossip columnist, I just could not resist a fragrance named "Very Hollywood!" The scent itself is different than what I usually go for. It's citrusy, but the mandarin isn't overwhelming, and the gardenia undertones are very fresh and feminine. However, the one major problem with this perfume is its staying power, or lack thereof. Even after squirting myself with this stuff a whopping eight times, the scent almost completely disappears an hour later, which is ridiculous. Michael Kors is a top brand, and I expected a lot more for my money. It's a major bummer because the fragrance itself is so lovely, but I cannot in good conscience repurchase.
