Review: A wonderful product when used correctly

I have been using this product for about two years now. As I read the reviews written by other users I felt I had to write my own so that people would have an accurate review written by someone who has used the product more than one time. This product is wonderful WHEN USED CORRECTLY. Most people who try this product once or twice have the exact same impression of the product...they believe it leaves their hair wet all day and if they blow dry it their hair is left both crunchy and flaky. Now I will tell you why. You are making the classic mistake that most people make when 'trying out a product'; you have applied too much of the product to your hair in the hopes of forcing enough product into your hair so that it looks like a jeri-curl. This product is meant to be used sparingly, you are not suppose to use half of the jar on your head at once. No wonder your hair is 'crunchy', 'wet all day', 'flaky' and 'slimy' when you go to wash it out. I have thick and long hair (at least 4 inches past shoulder length) and I only use about a tablespoon full on my entire head. Once I've applied the Curly Pudding I apply a small amount of Curly Buttercreme (about a tablespoon) to ensure that my hair has a proper amount of oil on it to prevent it from being dry and brittle. I DO NOT wash my hair daily. Instead, the following day I spritz water onto my hair to moisten it slightly and I then apply a small amount of Curly Buttercreme, style to my satisfaction and I'm out the door. By the time I reach my destination my hair is dry.
Just to get an idea of how sparingly I use the product, a 16 ounce jar can usually last me about 3 months. I made the same mistake when I first began using the products, I put globs and globs of it in my hair and was irritated when my hair looked as though I had a severe case of dandruff. Once I figured out that the problem was me and not the product I found this to be the best item on the market and worth every penny. Two years later I'm as happy as can be with it and wouldn't consider using anything else. I have tried every product that Noodle Head makes and the majority of Carol's Daughter's products and they don't hold a candle to Miss Jessie's!
