Not at all worth the hype. Save your hard earned money because there are products on the market that are much better for way cheaper. I used it for about 2 weeks and gave it away. Try Pro-L$ne comb-thru $oftener, it's cheaper and does a much better job. Review: Skeptic turned lifetime user!

I heavily researched this product because I wanted to be informed before I spent $20+ bucks on a hair product for my 18 month old. I googled and read almost every review I could find. There are so many mixed reviews about this product, but after much thought I figured it was worth a try. My daughter is mixed with black and puerto rican. She has corkscrew curls (3C)that often look dry, frizzy, and "wild". I wanted to allow her hair to rest and reduce the tension on her hair from ponytails. I reviewed the "How to use Mixed Chicks" tutorial online and took a risk of trying Mixed chicks on her hair prior to a wedding. All I can say is. . .WOW! This stuff is AS ADVERTISED! I think I may have used too much product, but the results were wonderful! I washed her hair, combed her hair with a Denman brush, then put in the conditioner. The results were immediate. She looked like she had a jeri curl at first. As it dried (it takes awhile for her hair to dry) it retained the curliness and it did offer a little shine as well. No frizziness at all. None. At that moment I said I would buy the big ol' jug of this stuff! To address common concerns, NO-it doesn't make the hair "shiny", but you can add shine with a polishing spray. NO-it doesn't "stink" nor "smell good" it just smells like conditioner. The scent doesn't stay with the hair either. YES-it makes the curls defined and YES you need soaking wet hair like the video states. YES-it "shrinks" the curls. YES-it is a little expensive for conditioner. If you have been dealing with this type of hair for awhile, you will truly appreciate the results. Review: Smooths hair... doesn't define your curls

I do feel it penetrated my hair strands, but it doesn't define your curl. You probably need to put something else to define it and hold it in place 100%. IT IS DEFINATELY NOT THE MIRACLE YOU EXPECTED. Review: THE WAR IS OVER!

I am a mother of a black/puerto rican daughter...Whose hair is very curly. However, upon ordering Mixed Chicks...Our war with the comb is over! Her hair is beautiful and the frizz is This product was ordered on a Thursday and recvd. on Saturday...How great is that....And, the customer svc. (Brad) was wonderful and very helpful with ALL my questions. I was sent samples to try and now I am hooked for my daughter...Thank you and hope this is helpful for any mother who has to go to war with a 3 yr. old and a comb. Review: THIS IS IT!!!!

I am 26. For most of my life I have not worn my hair curly because I didn't like it for one reason or another. My hair is natural, 3b texture. I wore my hair straight most of the time either in roller sets or flat ironed. I went to get my hair straightened professionally and she told me to try mixed chicks bc her biracial daughter had curls like mine and it worked wonders. I was skeptical, nevertheless I took the plunge and tried yet another product. WOW!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!! WOW!!!!! Yes the product dries crunchy but throughout the drying process I squeeze my hair to help alleviate the crunchy feeling and I am left with gorgeous curls!!! Almost everywhere I go people say something about my hair and ask what I put in it. I have turned my mother and friends on to this amazing product. I have not tried the shampoo and the deep conditioner is great. I shampoo my hair about once per week to prevent product buildup. But my normal routine is to co-wash (moisture milks v05 is fab and garnier triple nutrition) and detangle in the shower, split hair into 7 sections and use a full pump, sometimes a tad more on each section and let dry!!!!! I am in love with my curls!!!!! For someone who always flat ironed...I have basically stopped, I have flat ironed my hair twice in 6 months and for someone who flat ironed once sometimes even twice a week & preferred straight hair, this is huge!!!! The only time I will flat iron is for very special occasions or me just wanting to change it up! Curly girls........we have the BEST of both worlds, embrace it!!!!! The sooner you love your hair the better, my hair is so much healthier and vibrant!!!!!!!! YAY FOR MIXED CHICKS!!!! Oh and did I mention I live in humid Louisiana and my hair doesn't frizz :)
