Review: It's good but not amazing

Ok, so after reading the reviews, I really wanted it to work. And it does, to an extent. I have long, very thick, very tangled, curly hair that is always dry. It does do a wonderful job of defining my curls. But, the great look of the hair does not last all day long like some people said it does. I have a toddler, so I am constantly putting my hair in a ponytail and then letting it down and over and over again, so the nice curl definition just doesn't last, but maybe that's because of what I'm doing with it. The big con is that it does not make my hair feel any less dry or softer than it was before using it or like other people said it does for them. I was really hoping for that. But all in all it's a decent product. Not sure it is worth the high price though. I thought I finally found a miracle product for my hair and don't think I'll order a new one. I purchased this at my daughter's insistence, and it does make her hair look good the first day. However, I do not like how tightly the curls hold. It also makes her hair unbelievably tangled, necessitating washing her dry hair everyday in order to manage it. Review: LOVE THIS.

First let me say that I purchase a lot of products, and never feel compelled to leave reviews about them.
My hair is not really curly, but it is very thick, frizzy, and wavy. It doesn't look good at all in its natural state and so 99% of the time I just throw it into a ponytail due to convenience. On "special" occasions I will put the time and effort into straightening it (and due to how thick it is--it takes a lot of time to blowdry + flat iron!)
After first reading about Mixed Chicks I was very reluctant to try it. Couldn't justify the money and really had no idea if it would even make a difference on my hair. Finally, many months later I decided to just go for it. I got the shampoo, deep conditioner, and leave-in conditioner. I have to say, WHAT A DIFFERENCE! My frizzy, wimpy waves are actually pretty curls now. It's way beyond what I expected, I would have been happy if it just tamed the frizz and didn't dry my hair so much, I was not expecting the curls but I will happily take it.
There is no added effort either, I can shampoo and condition my hair as usual, and let it air-dry without having to worry. Love it!

I have been using this on my now 3 year old daughter for a year and a half now. She is black/Mexican and this is the only product that has turned her hair into beautiful, soft curls. I saw in feautured in Parent's magazine and ordered 1 bottle. I cannot tell you how many I have ordered since. I recommend this to all of my friend, relative and basically anyone else that has kids with curly hair. I have even used it on my own hair and it works great! Review: Leave in conditioner is ok

This conditioner is ok. If you use a whole lot if makes your curls look real nice. But you have the more you have in your hair the heavier it makes your hair. Both me and my daughter have long thick hair and with all that product it makes my neck hurt. I didn't like how it also made your hair hard and that you could not touch it too much after it dryed or else it would give you flakes.
