It seems a little strange to me that people are reviewing Myrrh resin based on how it looks rather than how it smells - isn't the smell of it the whole point?
This is an absolutely wonderful smelling Myrrh, it's what you look for whenever you buy a myrrh incense of any type. There is a small amount of powder and a little bit of resin covered sticks in the bag. There is also maybe 20% resiny bark, but there isn't really much myrrh available that doesn't contain bark, at least unless you want to pay double this price. Having picked bark out of it when I burned it a couple of time, and also having paid ridiculous prices for "high end" myrrh, I can tell you that it adds the myrrh character to the mix anyway, you really want it in there.
I have long been mystified and enthralled by the smell of myrrh, and this is some of the best I've ever had. It's not the prettiest, but it is the best smelling.
