Being a fan of Sandalwood scented bath soap, I was delighted to find the Mysore Sandal Soap on Amazon. Since I always shop either at a local French soap shop or at l'Occitane for my soap, the price for the Mysore soap was fantastic. However, when the soap arrived - all I can say is that it made a lovely smooth lather. The fragrance was not pleasant or sweet like the sandalwood soaps I usually purchase. I really wish the fragrance had been better. Tried the soap three times - then threw it in the garbage - it had an unpleasant scent. Review: scent that soothes spirits, smoothness that soothes skin

This is a dream of a product, soothing, smooth, and with a scent that will make you feel like you've just gone on an exotic vacation even though it's only your bathroom.My daughter bought some in India and liked it so much she gave us all some for Christmas; that was four years ago and we will never be without it again. It is superb.Oh, and the scent lingers all day. If you like the smell of sandalwood and having a soft skin this soap will have you singing in the shower.
