i did some research on natural sponges before i purchased this and found it to be a very interesting subject. i for some reason thought that 4-5 inches would be larger- that was only in my mind- so i was surprised how small these sponges were when they came- but they are a perfect shower size and go beautifully with a nice french gel body wash. soft and luxurious.

i have always wanted one- glad i did my research first, though- you can't use the type they sell in the hardware stores for painting as a bath sponge- they are a different type.

Directions: Hand wash with soap before first use. Air dry after each use. Rinse occasionally with baking soda and warm water.
