I order 3 of them for myself and my friends. 5-6 inch ones are definitely big enough to feel comfortable to hold and to cover a good amount of body area. I was a first time user of a sea sponge, and was absolutely delighted by how nice it felt. Also, I could cut the volume of body wash by half still w/ abundant lather.
