Review: BEST stuff EVER

I am Irish and fair skinned. In January at the age of 36 I was diagnosed with a precancerous spot on my face. It was the faintest, pinkish colored spot that sometimes I couldn't even find. I had it checked out just to be safe. What a shock to find it was precancerous and had to be removed that day. I am not a sun lover (my husband jokes I am a vampire) and I have never "laid out" to tan or used a tanning bed in my teen or adult life. I thought I was pretty sun conscious; I was wrong. My dermatologist said I must wear sunblock every day of my life now and even then, I will likely have these precancerous spots pop up throughout my life because it's damage done years ago. She recommended Neutrogena products because she likes them personally and said they don't tend to cause breakouts. I looked at reviews on drugstore.com for several different Neutrogena face sunblocks at SPF 50 or up. The 90 got the best reviews with people consistently saying it did not cause breakouts. So I ordered a tube and have been using it now for about two months without a single breakout. I even use it in my "T" zone which is prone to breakouts but it hasn't caused me any problems. What another reviewer said about it being a fantastic make-up primer is so true. I use the Neutrogena first, then I use a liquid foundation of SPF 15 and I finish with a light dusting of powder foundation to get rid of any shiny spots. My skin never looked better and it never looks caked on because this sunblock absorbs quickly and evenly. It moisturizes my face and makes my complexion look flawless. I just hope they never stop making this stuff. It's a hidden secret for sure. I'm grateful to Neutrogena for making this not only the medical/health product I need but the beauty product I want as well.
