I'm addicted to these. They reach where I need to and sturdy enough that I can apply a lot of pressure. I do tend to use them for other things like shutting the door when I don't want to get up and bugging my cats and picking up socks... I've broken two of them so far this way. But! This neat little back scratcher looks too tiny for really big itches, but it expands to the ideal length and it narrow enough to go inside a shirt collar. My itchy-backed husband loves it, especially when he's away from home on a trip, since it's easy to pack. Review: Great item at first...till it broke

I purchased the telescopic scrather about 6 months ago and was more than happy with it initially till it broke last month. The item appears to be too flimsy for constant use when extended beyond 50%. Just a note of caution. Review: Great little product
