Medicated Noxzema Shave for Sensitive Skin
I saw on a review for another variety of Noxzema shaving cream someone complaining about the ingredients changing and it being manufactured in Canada. The can I had on hand was purchased in 2000 and I was intrigued so I bought a new can (on sale for a buck at the drugstore) and compared the two and found that to be very true.
The shaving cream in the old can has a darker blue color and a more pure and intense menthol smell. Otherwise, the consistency seems to be the same, it shaves the same, and leaves the same feeling on the skin. So it is definitely not the same product but functions quite similarly when tested side-by-side. In my opinion, the lighter fragrance is a benefit that slightly outweighs the fact that it is a slightly less pleasant scent. It is still a good quality shaving cream.
