Product reviews of OC Eight Professional Mattifying Gel Review: i cant believe it works--for extremely extremely oily skin Beauty product: 5 Stars
i have struggled with oily skin since high school. i have used every astringent , mask , powder known to man. i googled oily skin and looked for products and i saw this one on web md. i figured what the heck-its 35 bucks and i'll see if it works. well today was my first day and i am super pleased with the results. usually i have to pat my self down every 10 minutes but this has worked for at least 8 hours . i highly reccomend this.
Review: the only one that works Beauty product: 5 Stars
I have tried a lot of different oil control products. My skin is so oily I could solve the nation's energy problems just with my facial oil alone. I used this product when it was called Clinac OC, but then they reformulated it slighly and called it OC Eight. For a few years after they discontinued the old product before they came out with the new product, I tried everything else possible. Nothing worked nearly as well as Clinac OC, so I was very happy they came out with the new version.
For those of you who say it's not working, I am wondering if you are not putting it on thick enough. I have to put it on very thick, but then again, I don't put on anything like makeup over that (since I'm a guy). Maybe try putting it on thicker and see if that helps.
And I also don't put it on all over my face - just my forehead and nose, where it's the oiliest. Then I put it on thick, and it lasts all day, even into the evening.
Review: works great for oily skin! Beauty product: 4 Stars
I bought this product after reading about it on a message board. I have VERY oily skin--within an hour of applying make up, I will have a shine all over my face so after I saw pretty good reviews for this product on the boards, I thought I'd give it a shot.
It says to apply after you moisterize and then put on your make up a minute after. I will say that although it did not keep me shine free for 8 hours, it did keep me moderately matte faced for more or less 4 hours. I'd keep using it though I'm not sure I'd spend $40 on another tube.
