Product reviews of OPI Classics Review: Great Polish! Beauty product: 5 StarsI love OPI nail polish. The first time I used it was when I had my first professional pedicure. The polish never chipped and I only had to remove it because my nails grew. I use OPI polishes now to give myself pedicures and it lasts much longer than other brands. I also use OPI's base coat and top coat to help the polish last and I think that adds to the staying power and prevents the polish from staining my nails. OPI's nail polish also seems to have a longer shelf life than other brands. I've had some of my bottles for years and they haven't separated or changed in any way. These are great polishes and they're worth the extra money!
Review: Fiji-Weejee Fawn is Fawn-tastic! Beauty product: 5 StarsThis OPI polish color goes on smoothly. It looks like espresso(tan/khaki brown) in the bottle and on the nail itself it looks like a nice taupe. It's perfect for those that want iridescent pearl-ish coating w/o added attention! Great buy!
Review: Great color selection and Big3 Free! Beauty product: 5 StarsOPI is formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP free (unlike Essie). OPI and Essie both have a great range of colors to choose from, but I'd choose OPI over Essie any day because of the lack of toxic chemicals. Not So Bora Bora-ing pink is a lovely lavender-ish pink. Some of the other classic colors worn by many include Cotton Candy (Soft pink) and Coney Island Cotton Candy (Soft nude). I'm Not Really A Waitress is their bestselling red (I don't have one because I don't like red nail polishes). Good luck!
Review: consistently good product Beauty product: 5 StarsThis is the only polish I have used for years and years - my nails and natural and I never have any chipping problems. Alas, they discontinued Java Mauve - in case anyone at Opi reads these - BRING IT BACK!
Review: Some trouble with chipping Beauty product: 3 StarsI have used OPI nail polish in two situations: over acyrilic nails and over natural nails. When I had a professional nail technician apply OPI nail polish over acyrilic nails I had a good result, the polish did not chip and it wore very well across time. However, when another professional nail technician applied OPI to natural nails it chipped almost right away. So I wouldn't use it over natural nails.
