Mandarin Orange (Citrus Nobilis)- a known anti-oxidant, the Mandarin Orange is a citrus fruit native to China and adopted around the world. Ginger (Zingiber Officinale)- Indigenous to Southeast Asia, Ginger was quickly embraced by European spice traders who were attracted by its energizing and refreshing properties. Although this scent is far from fruity in my opinion, this distinct fragrance is definitely strong and spicy. While I usually like skin care products that contain Ginger (think Origins Ginger Souffle Whipped Body Cream), this version is just plain unpleasant as it reminds me of a man's cheap cologne or aftershave. But on a positive note (if you like the fragrance, that is), the scent lasts a long time and the added moisturizers leave the skin feeling soft and smooth, especially when layered with an unscented body lotion.
