This product is a great detangler. It doesn't do much for shine though. It has a smell that I don't like very much. Someone else said in their review that the granules make a mess but that is not true. They dissolve almost instantly. I have two jobs and mostly just comb my hair after a shower and put it in a bun. Basically, this makes it easier to comb but I can't say much about any other aspect (such as styling).
