I wanted to try out Olay Definity Neck & Chest Daily Restoration Treatment because at 30, I might not have wrinkles and age spots on my neck and chest, but I also believe 1.7 ounces of prevention are worth thousands in plastic surgery later. So please keep that in mind as you consider my review. I cannot say this product performed miracles, because I did not need miracles performed. But I do think that this is a solid product, consistent with what I've come to expect from Olay.
The first thing I noticed when I opened up my Neck & Chest Daily Restoration was how cool it looks in the package. It's a creme suspended in helixes in a clear gel. It looks futuristic and expensive, and even though you won't be re-using this container for anything after the product is gone, the pump seems to be very high-quality, like it'll last as long as there's product in the container.
After the appearance inside the package, the next thing that really impressed me is that there is no fragrance whatsoever. Fragrances can irritate skin, no matter how well-meaning or innocuous the fragrance seems. Plus, there's no smell to fight with any perfume you might want to wear, if your main concern isn't fragrance sensitivity. The texture of this product is a little like buttercreme icing's lighter, less greasy cousin. It feels substantial, but not too much so. It soaks in quickly, leaving no greasy residue, but my skin felt so silky and soft. I don't have any worries about this product staining my clothes or making me break out in a rash, but I do feel as though it is hydrating the skin on my chest and neck.
There are definitely more expensive products to be had that claim to do the same things Olay Definity Neck & Chest Daily Restoration Treatment claims to do, but I think it's a smart buy to try this one first. Olay has been around for a long time, and their products have a good reputation. If you can get high-end results for a drugstore price, why not go for it?
