Review: Works good.....but seems like Lemon Scented Powder.
Beauty product: 5 Stars

I saw this on an infomercial.

I color my hair and thought this would be a great way of skipping a shampoo day..... I've used it maybe 3 times since I bought it a few months ago.

It seems like over priced Lemon Scented baby powder. I bet you could just use baby powder instead? Comes out white just like baby powder....but you smell like lemon wood cleaner....

I like the product so I gave it a good rating, but I think you could use baby powder and call it a day. Maybe I'm wrong....just a thought.

Review: Works great on very dark hair
Beauty product: 5 Stars

I have jet black hair and this product works fabulously! I have tried baby powder and cornstarch and they both left a terrible white residue/sheen and sometimes clumped up, looking like dandruff. I've even tried Bumble & Bumble's dry shampoo spray for black hair, and that was disgusting. If I touched my hair it would make my fingers black, and it left a gray haze on all my bathroom walls.

The other reviewers who think baby powder works just the same must have blonde hair, because it absolutely does not work the same on dark hair. Oscar Blandi's dry shampoo has a pleasant scent and doesn't leave a noticeable residue. Since the powder is white, I was suprised at how easily it disappeared into my black hair. It gave my roots body and absorbed all the oil. I applied it by rubbing the powder between my palms, then combed through my roots with my fingers/palms. This method prevents the product from clumping. I love this product and highly recommend it, especially for brunettes!

Review: Works great, smells bad
Beauty product: 4 Stars

I like to wash my hair every fourth day, if I can. Other then at the scalp, which is a greasy mess by day 3, my hair usually looks better a few days out. Enter Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo. I love it, because it really does soak up the grease; I have no problem going four or more days between shampoos. The only thing is, I really hate the smell; another problem is that it makes this brunette's roots look grey. However, since two weeks after a visit to my hairdresser, my roots are grey, I can't say that is a problem :). I recommend it

Review: Works so-so but pretty stinky
Beauty product: 2 Stars

It performs ok, getting rid of excess oil and adding volume but it totally takes away my hair's shine making it dull and powdery looking. I agree with the reviewer that said it makes her hair look gray at the roots (and I'm blonde). I also don't like the scent and it sticks around ALL DAY. The smell is kind of chemical like something you'd smell at a hospital. But, I do use it if I have to just very sparingly so I don't stink and look like an old gray mare.

Review: Works well
Beauty product: 4 Stars

The bottle is small but you don't need to use a lot. I use it to extend time between washings. I apply it at the root and then mush up the hair thoroughly with my hands. Sometimes I then go over it with a towel to be sure I get it all out because I have dark hair. Then brush. Done. It puts some of the body back in the hair.

I would have given it five stars but I think the price is a bit high.
