I bought this on a whim and it has become a staple in my lip product bag. It is a jelly-like consistency and goes on clear/glossy. I usually use it as my go-to lip balm or over lip stains which tend to be very drying for me. I have very dry skin and my lips chap easily without some sort of protection. I find I don't have to apply this as often as most lip balms to keep my lips hydrated. It is a bit on the pricier side but the quality has been worth it for me. It smells amazing and tastes sweet, but I try not to lick it all off :o) The petal jam, as its name implies is very floral, so if you are not a fan of floral scents I might suggest trying one of the other flavors, which I love just as much. My only complaint is that although the jars the product comes in are very cute resembling jam jars, I am not a fan of lip products in pots for sanitary reasons; however I love the product so much I couldn't even mark it down a star just because it is in a jar.
