Review: Best Electric Razor I've Found

This product actually does live up to its promises of being the fastest closest-shaving electric razor out there. I've used various Norelco, Braun 8000 series (the self-cleaning line) and Remington razors and none come close.
I am tough on a razor because I shave both my face & head daily and have sensitive skin. This razor is gentle on your skin for several reasons: 1) with the springy head (which you can lock in position) it keeps you from applying too much pressure, 2) Three rows of foil plus one "grid" to get long hair means it cuts right on the first pass (instead of on the 2 or 3rd and 3) Easy to clean means that you don't skin oil buildup on the blades
This razor really does save time. It would take me nearly 15 minutes to shave with the Braun 8000 series (previously the best I've found) and this razor cuts it nearly in half. The wet/dry feature and cleaning mode mean it only takes 30 seconds to clean the razor with some hand soap, which saves you serious money compared to the Braun proprietary cleaning solution. The self-clean is much quieter than the noisy, long self-cleaning cycle (>20mins) of a Braun, which matters if you wake up before your girlfriend/wife and can't clean the razor on a regular basis as a consequence. Plus, there is much less "shedding" of cut hair than with other razors (less mess).
The only downside with the razor is that one session takes ~20% off the battery indicator, so I think that you really do have to travel with the power adaptor unless it's an overnight trip.
In summary, I rate this a solid "buy". You can't go wrong with this one.
