Review: love it! the best shampoo ever!
Beauty product: 5 Stars

The best shampoo ever. My hair stayed clean longer than ever. I did not have to use any conditioner, detangler, volumizer or anything else. And my hair look great.

Review: love this shampoo
Beauty product: 5 Stars

yes its expensive (although a little goes a long way). But, even without styling product or blow drying, my hair looked great. And it NEVER looks great. I have fine hair that needs to be coaxed to do something. This shampoo alone did it. You get what you pay for...

Review: so NOT worth it
Beauty product: 1 Stars

why oh why did i fall for this? let's face it, people with fine (aka miserable) hair will try anything.

the second ingredient in this glop is sodium laureth sulfate (aka detergent) & the third is perfume. so it smells really nice.

there are some good ingredients, but over $100 worth? i don't think so.

if you value your hair you will stay away from detergent-based shampoos & perfumes. the long-term effects on your delicate strands are not pretty.

i left it in as long as possible, rinsed cold & my hair emerged fly-away & dryish. in this humid summer! it does give it some body, but this is available from less expensive & damaging shampoos.

i use a little-known shampoo that sells for $6.75 & works so much better--even keeps hair from falling out excessively. i've just developed a new appreciation for it.

in short, i'd have to say: save your money!

Review: surprisingly protects hair color
Beauty product: 4 Stars

I don't want to spend this much on shampoo, but got it anyway to see what the fuss is all about. I purchased and started using it in December. Yes, my hair is softer, better behaved (I have pretty good hair anyway that requires little if any product). BUT the big surprise for me is that my color (every 5 weeks like clockwork to cover up gray) is lasting all the way through. Twice my colorist has agreed with me that there is very little color fade and I could go another week or two without color. Weird because there is detergent in this shampoo. Could it be that in the winter hair just doesn't grow as much and so roots are not as noticible? I don't know so I will keep using this shampoo and see what happens in March, April, May......Thought I would mention this because I haven't seen this addressed in any other review.....

Review: works well for 30+ hair
Beauty product: 5 Stars

I read about it in Vogue and was skeptical because of the $$. Here's the key: leave it on a good five minutes at least, as long as you reasonably can while you shave your legs or whatever. Then rinse for 2 full minutes with COLD water. It closes the hair shaft and my hair came out smoother and shinier after the blowdry. I have fine, graying hair, colored blonde w/hilights. It gets frizzy, limp and dull in a hurry. This shampoo makes it soft and full again, but the cold water rinse gives the best results. I get best results by following with Terax Crema conditioner, better than the Philip B conditioners, and I've tried nearly all of them. The 12 oz. tub lasted 6 months w/ 2 to 3 times a week useage.
