I cannot rave enough about Philosophy Hope in a Jar for dry, sensitive skin. I have only been using it a little over a month and the improvement of my skin is amazing. I have sensitive, combination skin, but in the winter months (and since hitting 40) my dry patches have been getting dryer, so I decided to try the dry and sensitive formula and I am so glad I did. It not only got rid of all the dryness but has made my complexion so clear and smooth. AND, best of all, I decided to discontinue using my Lancome Renergie eye creme and try this instead and the difference is miraculous! It has not only drastically diminished the wrinkles under my eyes but the puffiness as well.
I do want to add that the very first time I used this I did experience some slight burning and redness, but my skin must have adjusted to it because I didn't have any problems with it after that.
This one is a keeper. Try it and use it morning and night and see for yourself.

Over the last few of years I've moved from a medium humid area (Los Angles) to a dry climate (central CA) to a VERY DRY climate (Las Vegas). My skin went from oily to so dry I was flaking AND cracking all over my face. I tried so many products and nothing helped. I somehow ended up with a small jar of this and OMG! Within the first couple of days that "tight" feeling went away - two weeks and the flaking began to calm down dramatically. By the time I was done with my first jar, my skin had a "glow", and my breakouts happened less often.
I still have an oily T-Zone, and this does not make my skin feel any more oily than normal.

Let me just say that I loved this for the first week or so. I bought it because harsh cleansing products had REALLY dried out my skin, and this really does feel wonderful.
However, after two weeks of use I broke out with the worst acne I had ever had. So please, only use this is you aren't prone to acne. It's great for dry winter months and not recommended for use in humid climates like mine.

I love this stuff in the Winter. It's perfect for sensitive skin when it gets dry. It just reinvents your skin as dewy and calm. But skip it in the summer because it's much too intense.
