Product reviews of Philosophy Makeup Optional Set ($125 Value) Review: This works! Beauty product: 5 Stars
I have tried everything there is for my skin and cannot believe what a difference these products made. I never had problem skin, in fact it was flawless. Then I started developing cysctic acne. I have used retin-a, murad and everything else. Friday night 12/8, I purchased this kit. Used it that night was nice but nothing impressive, so I continued over the weekend. Today is 12/12 and my skin looks amazing. I have no new breakouts at all. The only thing left behind is the marks from old acne and it seems to be fading. My skin used to be so dry from the acne products that I couldn't even wear makeup. My skin is soft supple and CLEAR! I am so pleased with this kit and hope that it continues to transform my skin as well as it already has.
Review: WOW-this is a good deal! Beauty product: 5 Stars
All of the products in this kit are ones that I use regularly, and the price is really great! I started using Philosophy skin care a couple of years ago with a kit like this, and my skin improved so much it was just unbelievable. I briefly thought my skin was good on its own, and tried going back to my old department store beauty products, and found myself breaking out again. This kit contains the items I find absolutely essential: Purity cleanser has a very subtle lemon verbena scent and removes all makeup very easily. Hope in a Jar moisturizer has a very cool souffle texture and really hydrates the skin. Some people say they don't like the smell, but I really do. Just these two products used regularly leave my skin very soft and free of blemishes. I have also been using the serum religiously, and based on my non-wrinkly status, it has to be working, plus I'm really impressed with the ingredients. Hope in a tube has a funny stiff texture and great ingredients that have taken away the crepe skin texture I was starting to notice around my eyes. I have never seen such a great deal on these products IN FULL SIZE, so I'm ordering this for sure.
Review: What is all the excitement about? Beauty product: 1 Stars
I ordered this product after reading all the great reviews and I will have to say that I am extremely disappointed. They eye cream is good, the serum is ok but other then that this is not anything to get excited about. The moisturizer isn't that great and the product made my face break out horribly. It wasn't just because I changed products, I tried this for a month and still had horrible breakouts.
Review: Wonderful Beauty product: 5 Stars
I have tried many different skin products, and I can honestly say that this is the very best. I have been using this set for 3 weeks and my skin looks and feels totally different. My skin has not looked this good since high school. I am totally sold.
Review: not too impressed Beauty product: 3 Stars
I received this kit as a gift. Although I don't have problem skin and don't normally use lots of products, I was psyched to try it out. On day three, I decided to use the microderm peel. The next day my skin was red and irritated and covered with little bumps. I stopped using the whole collection and two weeks later my skin is almost back to normal- I still have dry patches on my cheeks. I'd hate to waste such an expensive product, so I'm gradually working the products back into my daily routine (minus the peel) to see if I break out again. If my skin still goes haywire, I'll go back to using the trusty Phisoderm facewash and St.Ives moisturizer combo that has kept me in near perfect skin.
