Product reviews of Philosophy Purity Made Simple Review: Not as great as some of the reviews state Beauty product: 3 StarsIf samples or travel sizes of a product are available I will buy them to test the product out. I had just used up my Cosmedicine foaming facial cleanser and was satisfied but wanted to try something new. The lady at Sephora mentioned Purity was very poupular and suggested I try it. A little bottle is $10.00. At first I hated the product but continued using it cause I had nothing else. Purity smells bad, it has a strong spicy smell that reminds me of black pepper. The cleanser does not wash away make-up but thats what make-up remover is for. It is gentle on my skin but I would prefer a better cleaner.I wouldn't buy it again but I will finish using the product.
Review: The Best One Step Facial Cleanser Beauty product: 5 StarsThe Best One Step Facial Cleanser
I'm addicted to "Purity Made Simple". It's the greatest one step facial cleanser I've ever used and I've tried many. It removes all makeup, oils, dirt and impurities down to the pores the first time. After one application with water and a soft face cloth my skin is literally squeaky clean.
I used to have to use two applications of other brands along with an exfoliating scrub to get my skin this clean.
It lasts longer then my other cleansers too, since I only need one application.
Makeup, moisturizer, any skin treatments go on and perform so much better because my skin is so clean.
Philosophy's "Purity Made Simple" is a smooth, gentle lotion type cleanser with a pleasant scent that puts other expensive cleansers to shame.
This is great to take on camping trips because you won't need a lot of water. My teenage cousins love this for deep cleaning there acne prone skin.
Review: I use it every day Beauty product: 4 StarsI am in my mid 30's and have very combination skin. I have found that the Purity made simple is really good for cleaning without drying out or making my skin oily. I really like it.
Review: Simple and Effective and Fun Beauty product: 5 Stars*****
I really like "Purity Made Simple". It is a one-step cleanser for those of us who like things easy and who don't want to buy gajillions of products that we end up not using. It has a clean, fresh scent that is sort of herby, yet kind of minty, while not smelling like mint at all---it mostly just smells pleasant and fresh, if there is such a scent.
I do not wear makeup at all, but my skin is a combination type. So I have dry spots and wrinkles, and then really oily places (like my nose and forehead). I am menopausal to boot so I have wrinkle concerns and no longer scrub my face with soap. "Purity Made Simple" is the solution to all of these problems for me. I put a little bit on my hand in the bathtub, and gently wash my face with it each morning. It feels so good and is fun to use, because your face feels incredible afterwards!
It doesn't foam up at all, but it's not that kind of cleanser. You get used to no foam. Kind of like with your antiperspirant or your moisturizer---you don't want foam from them either, but you don't expect it right? If you're used to suds with a facial cleanser, I'm betting you'll get used to the simplicity and effectiveness of this product and will not miss your old cleanser one bit.
Some other reviewers said it irritated their skin, which I'm sure can happen with any product. Check the ingredients listed on this page and make sure you're not allergic to any of them, then try the product, and hopefully you'll get to use it and be as happy with it as I am.
You only use a little bit, so it lasts a long time.
Highest recommendation.

Review: Life Changer Beauty product: 5 StarsI've been using philosophy products for almost a year, and I've fallen in love with them. After reading the reviews, I thought that maybe sharing my experience would be helpful.
I'm 28 years old, and have oily, acne prone skin. I've been struggling with my skin since I was 13 years old, and have tried literally everything on the market.
On a whim, I bought Purity Made Simple, and noticed a difference the very first time I used it. My face felt clean...really, really clean...for the first time in ages. I had no real problems for the first few days, then around the end of the first week, I had a terrible breakout. Cystic acne, regular acne, you name it. It was awful. My first reaction was to stop using Purity, then I remembered the old adage, it gets worse before it gets better, and kept using it day and night. Keep in mind, at this time, Purity was only skin care product I used. About 10-14 days later, my skin starting looking better. My acne healed and my face looked...dare I say clear? I gradually started adding in other philosophy products and since that time, I've had maybe 1 pimple every 4 weeks, if that. My skin is soft, radiant, and clear. For the first time in my entire life, I can go out of the house with no makeup on. For me, it's been a miracle.
I've thrown away every other product I had in the bathroom, I'm a believer. I'm a philosophy girl through and through. I can't praise philosophy enough, and I encourage anyone to try it. Give it a chance to work, it'll change your life.
