I have read a lot of reviews about this product and feel that some people are expecting too much from the serum; or they were not using the correct amount. It specifically says it firms, lifts and brightens the face. I agree wholeheartedly. I have used more expensive spa firming, lifting serums. One cost me $89. It was good but did not firm and lift near as well as this does. I feel immediate results with this product. I have used much more expensive lines of skin care but can't say enough praise for Philosophy products. I happily switched over and saved some money too. Review: Skin so soft

Very good product if you can get pass the smell. I am not sure it actually firms, but it does have a lot of good ingredients in it. I have very oily skin and it does not make me any oilier nor does it make me break out. Review: When You Need A Little More

Just a little bit of use and the fine lines around the eyes and mouth can be diminished. We all want a miracle in a bottle or a jar one that is going to make us look youthful again. Well this won't make you have perfect skin but it does help!
