Product reviews of Philosophy by Philosophy day care; Hope In a Jar Moisturizer (All Skin Types) - 15 ml/0.5 fl oz Review: Great Product Beauty product: 5 Stars
I have sensitive, acne prone skin and have been searching for a moisturizer that doesn't make me break out, turn red (due to skin irritation), or leave my face looking perpetually greasy. I finally came across Philosophy's Hope in a Jar moisturizer and it's amazing. The product makes my pores look smaller, evens out my skin tone, and makes my face look healthy rather than greasy. The lactic acid in the product helps clear up scarring and removes dead, superficial layers of skin to reveal healthy skin and prevent pore-clogging and breakouts. The product is expensive, but a very very small bit of the moisturizer goes a long way.

I am a new user of Philosophy Brand products - But so far I love all I have tried. This moisterizer is great.
Review: Great Product! Beauty product: 5 Stars
I have become a Philosophy fan after trying several of their products and have recently purchased about all of the skin care line! I had larger then normal pores (not overly large) in my T-Zone that have almost vanished after using Purity Made Simple Facial Cleanser and the Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash for the last month. I apply the Hope in a Jar after cleaning my face and it has made my skin soft and noticeably smoother. I love the fact that it goes on light and is not greasy. I use the Airbrushed canvas on top of the Perfectly clear foundation and I am good to go! My skin is the clearest it has ever been and people comment on how radiant my face looks!
Review: Great Stuff Beauty product: 4 Stars
I've used several Philosophy products and I'd say while this is their most popular it is with reason. This moisturizer is great. It's not amazing, but it's great. There's a difference! Makes my skin feel so soft and it radiates. I recommend it for combination skin.
Review: Great but expensive.... Beauty product: 5 Stars
I had the make-up optional kit which includes "Hope in a jar" and loved it (except the price). I am in my 50's and when I started using the kit--people would stop me mid-conversation to mention my skin looking great! Never had that happen before and I attributed it to the "Hope in a jar" which gives the skin a rosy glow. As I continued to use the product I believed that it maintains good skin but does not smooth out those fine lines you get in your 50's. While I adored "When Hope is not Enough" serum also --that as well, did nothing for laugh lines or firmed the skin--but I loved the way it felt. (The only product in the kit that really did absolutely nothing is the little hope in a tube lip line product. Seriously, that did zip.)
Anyway, after running out of Hope in a jar and the Hope serum--and not re-ordering them--- I got dermatitis from using other products! It has been frustrating to say the least. I do believe now, that there is something in "Hope in a jar" that balances skin or at least my skin and once I stopped using those 2 products twice daily--my skin has had so many problems.
So, while "Hope in a jar" may not reduce fine lines--it does keep the skin in beautiful condition health wise. I regret that I did not re-order this product.
