I'm usually very happy with Physician's Formula products, and when I caught this item yesterday on sale, I was very excited to try it along with the lash plumping mascara.
I am incredibly surprised this brand released a product that fails so miserably.
I got the shade in Nude, and really loved the packaging. However, when I put the product on I instantly wanted to take it off. The shade was silvery and made me look like I would be into body glitter. The texture was awful: My lips were so sticky I was making smacking sounds, and it was just...goopy and incredibly unattractive.
There is one upside, which is why I give this product a 2 instead of a 1. Once I blotted most of the stuff off and my lips were dry and still sticky, I put on some chap stick. The stain of the shade was still on my lips, minus the silvery nonsense, and actually looked good. There did also seem to be some plumping action, but I'm not sure if it was the product or just the slight irritation from the blotting. This morning I tried just applying very little of it to my lips, but that didn't work. It's so sticky, it's hard to get the excess off the applicator. This product is overall a big Fail, and I would absolutely not recommend it.
However, I would highly recommend the lash plumping mascara for your eyes. The results are amazing and look natural.
