I bought this becuz I like to do my own nails at home. I haven't actually done them yet becuz I have been busy, but I put batteries in it and tried every attachment. You can't put any kind of pressure on your nail, as soon as you do the file or whatever one you are using quits moving. If you barely touch it to your nail it spins fine, but doesn't really get any work done. I am not really sure how good a job it it going to do with acrylic nails. I do not have high hopes for it. But for the price I got it for, I shouldn't complain, I guess. I might be able to use it on simple crafts or something. But is definitely not heavy duty. I wish I would have chose differently and got one with a little more power cuz this one just seems really weak. I used the hard pink file just to see if it would work and part of the file chipped away. And that was on my regular nail that is weak right now becuz I recently took acrylics off, so I really don't have high hopes for this one.
