Product reviews of Pretika SonicDermabrasion Facial Brush Review: What I don't like Beauty product: 2 Stars
I enjoy using the machine, My face feels tingly and fresh. What I do not like is the machine is WHITE (that's OK) but the plug and cord are BACK. It's seems they should both be white.
Review: Who needs the pricey brand??? Beauty product: 5 Stars
I really, really (really) wanted a Clarisonic! I'm 43 and live in a tropical climate, however, I don't like to spend money on facials. I researched the Clarisonic and decided I couldn't pay that much for a facial tool. I stumbled across this Pretika and took a chance. I had read a lot of good reviews, but also some iffy ones--but for the price it was worth a try. Right out of the box, this facial brush was easy to use. It also came with an extra brush, which I thought was a nice touch. So I get to work with the brush. My skin felt amazing the first time I used it! It really made a difference. I don't know why I thought these brushes were supposed to spin as that would tear your skin. This brush pulsates (as I guess the Clarisonic does too).
Now I would like to address the issues others have written about--others said that the item stopping work after awhile and rusting. I have experienced none of these issues and I've had mine for months. As with anything cordless, you should only leave it in the charger while it is charging--do not store it in there and charge it 24/7--you will wear down the battery. In regard to the rusting, this is also what happens to metal if you put it into a charger while wet. I don't even charge mine that often. When I use it, I towel it off afterwards. In addition, my original brush is still in great condition. I soak it in a dixie cup of water occasionally and all of the product that hasn't rinsed off will float off and it's clean as new. I recommend this Pretika!
Review: Works Well Beauty product: 5 Stars
This product works really great. I have acne prone skin and tried everything to get clear skin, nothing worked. I have been using this product for about 8 weeks and I finally have clear skin. This is a great product for anyone with acne prone skin. It sluffs away bumps and dead skin.
Review: You need to know... Beauty product: 1 Stars
The unit will rust in 2 days while charging. The unit does not have an international charger. The unit has a 30 days warranty. The unit broke down in less than a week. It is because so many false reviews are posted here. I have to let the truth be known. Luckily; I bought this from B&B, so I returned it with digust. This is the worst product that I bought in years. Buy this, you will be sorry. Try MIA by Clarisonic instead of this junk.
Review: a bit disappointed with the Pretika Beauty product: 3 Stars
I've only had the Petrika a few weeks, and have been pretty faithful to the twice daily use they recommend.
I was surprised and quite disappointed that the brush head doesn't rotate at all; just the sonic vibration.
The brush head IS NOT easy to pull off.
And the holder design is sorely lacking. They warn you against charging the unit if the contacts are wet, yet have you store your wet unit in the charging base????
A separate cradle built in to the charger base would make more sense.
I have noticed some change to my skin; no reduction to pore size or clogged pores, but it does feel a bit tighter. I seem to be a bit more red and ruddy now, but just slightly.
When you shake the water off after rinsing after use - there is something loose like a screw or something rattling around!
Would I buy this unit if I knew then what I know now? Probably not!
Plus they could use work on their instructions, soap or no, scrubs? lotion? It's all guesswork because they don't really tell you.
