In high school I didn't have an overly difficult completion. I would get one or two blemishes in a months time. Pretty good for the amount of makeup I wore on a daily basis. Also as I got older, even while pregnant with my twins acne was not too big of an issue.
Fast forward to just after my 27th birthday. All of a sudden my face decided to change and nothing seemed to work to keep it clear. It would seem just as one blemish was healing, another was starting. The closest thing I could get to working was Oxy face wash. I would use that and a exfoliant. But even that combination would fail one week a month when my female hormones were too strong.
After 2 years of battling my newly difficult complexion, I broke down and tried Proactiv. I had seen the commercials on TV for years, but it felt too "infomercial" to me to really work. It wasn't until I saw a presentation on QVC that I decided to try it. I often shop QVC and have gained a trust in the products they carry.
At first I noticed no change at all. I even ended up getting some new blemishes. I quit using it after 3 days and went back to my Oyx. It wasn't until I had ran out of my other face wash and decided to just use the Proactiv until I could buy some more of my regular wash, that I discovered how well it worked. I started using it and after all the blemishes I had at the time had gone away, no more occurred. Fist days, then weeks, then I realized it had been 2 months and my face was still trouble free. I learned for certain it was the Proactiv because when I ran out of it, and did not reorder right away, within 2 weeks my face was breaking out.
I use this renewing cleanser as my main wash, and use the mask if my face is particularity oily and needs some extra drying out. Now at 30 years old, I have had my complexion back under control for a few years and Proactiv is the reason why!
