This product contains sulfur, a non-synthetic antibacterial compound. In theory, bacteria see the sulfur and absorb it because it looks so much like vitamin D to them. Through an unknown mechanism, this kills the bacteria. Neat!
On a side note, i paid $9.50 for this product. Their price fluctuates daily, so add it to your cart and wait for the best price.

Tried the proactiv line several years ago. Worked really well against my occasional breakouts, but had to stop using it when the products began irritating my sensitive skin. But I did continue using the mask just as a spot treatment. As soon I feel a blemish emerging, I put on a dab and it's usually gone by the morning. And if I don't catch it in time, the mask helps it go away quickly. I highly recommend it. Review: Helpful, but smells funky

Of course it depends on what type of skin you have, but I find this does work decently well as a spot treatment for me. I have fairly oily skin in the summer and somewhat drier skin in the winter. The main disadvantage though is the smell. Let's just say I'm glad I'm single so no one else is subject to the side effect-smelliness of this product. (It's main active ingredient is sulfur - so think a less potent rotten-egg type smell). Review: Horrible Business Practices

The product is good, but the business practices of this company are horrible. Once you order from an advertisement or a special in the newspaper or visa advertisement, the company just automatically sends shipments of their product at two to three times the introductive price and you are obligated to pay for them, unless you choose to pay to have them sent back. You the customer are never asked if you would like another shipment. They come once every month at a very high price, unless you make it known that you do not want the product. You are not given the option to go to the store or kiosk and purchase what you want, when you want it. The product works well, but their business ethics are horrible. Review: I LOVE THIS!

The tube is huge, effective and cheap. I will buy this product every time I run out and I even bought some for my sister.
