Gives you very good moisture without being greasy. Soothes skin well. The scent is very light and non-intrusive. I use this in combination with Proraso shaving cream, and they work together wonderfully. But I am sure this balm is able to stand on its own just as well. I used this product last night for the first time after a good traditional wet shave. It does what you expect every quality after shave to do, moisturize that skin and soothe it. It does EXACTLY that. It is very soothing and it beats any aftershave i have ever tried. It does not contain alcohol, and this is a plus for me because i have very sensitive skin. Of all my purchases of shaving products through Amazon.com, the Proraso after shave balm was one of the best. I have very sensitive skin and use a Mekur adjustable razor (futur) so I get a very close shave and need this product to clear the redness and razor burn. It really works well and I would recommend it for anyone but especially for those with sensitive skin. It tightens your skin and makes it look healthy. The product has no alcohol.
