I can't tell you how happy I have been to find this product. Proraso products are great but this pre shave is wonderful and softens my heavy beard within minutes. It has a tingly cool feeling that makes your face tighten up for a great shave. For those new to wet shaving I would highly recommend you try this product. The cost is reasonable and the small jar will last for months. If you have sensitive skin this is the product you need for your shaving ritual. Review: what i expected from proraso

A lot of you guys that buy a lot of shaving products from amazon have probably seen my reviews on a lot of these products. Let me just explain that for years I have shaved and have never been satisfied with the cheap results. Bad results equals bad confidence and of course bad looking skin. Ever since I switched to traditional shaving and have gotten the results I have dreamed about, I want to help other men achieve this too.
I am all about recommending quality products that help guys look good and feel good about it. I also understand that some products that work for me might now work for you, but like the old saying goes you will "never know unless you try it". So here is the review
I bought this stuff and use it underneath the proraso eucalyptus and menthol cream. It does make a difference.
I usually wet my face real good then massage this cream in a leave it for a few minutes. Then lather up normally and proceed to shaving.I'm not sure if it softens the hair or what since this pre shave cream does not appear very slick like you would expect. I do not know how it works, I just know that it does.
I recommend it. It feels excellent on the skin and helps protect your skin. I recommend all proraso products

I use this with proraso shaving cream and after shave balm, and Merkur Futur razor and shaving brush. My shaving is a pure pleasure. I'm not sure if the pre cream is a big part of it, but I sure have a nice and good looking skin after shaving. It's also scary long lasting, I'd guess a jar lasts for at least a year, probably a year and a half.
