I have naturally curly hair. Sometimes though I like to wear it straight and smooth. My stylist used this on me and I was hooked. Before I left the salon, I purchased some. When I would smooth out my hair before discovering this product, I used a salon quality round brush and a blow dryer, but even after doing that, I always would have to put some large rollers in to finish smoothing out the ends and to de-frizz. Well with this product, if you don't want to curl the ends, you don't have to. It is important to know proper technique of smoothing hair with a blow dryer. I just watched my stylist and practiced. Keeping the dryer right on the hair while using a round brush is the key. It also helps if you have an adapter that goes on the end of the dryer that concentrates the air flow to just the brush surface. Not sure what that piece is called.
Also, I only spray the Elixer on the strand of hair I am working on. This seems to work best and waste less too, I think.
