When I first started using Remington shavers, I thought the Shaver Saver was just an extra expense. My first Remington foil began self-destructing within 4 months. Since then I have used Shaver Saver, which prolongs the life of the foil to an average of 2+ years. Shaver Saver also helps the shaver stay up to speed when the battery is getting low. Well worth the small extra expense.
