Product reviews of Remington Wet 2 Straight 2" Wide Plate Wet/Dry Ceramic Hair Straightening Iron with Tourmaline Review: Great straightener, Great price! Beauty product: 4 Stars
I bought this hair straightener for my 12 year old daughter. I purchased this one because it seemed to be a quality straightener for a reasonable price. It heats up quickly and is easy to use. She can use it if her hair is wet or dry. The only thing she doesn't like about it is when her hair is wet the straightener shoots out steam that burns her head if she is not holding the straightener far enough away.
Review: Great time saver Beauty product: 5 Stars
Absolutely LOVE this straightener. It has controls for straightening wet, damp or dry hair. My daughter loves that she doesn't have to dry her hair before straightening. I purchased another wet/dry straightener first and it didn't work as well as this one and took longer. The price on this straightener was less also. Great value and great product.

I have tried several straightening irons and this one by far works the best. I have been using it for about 6 months now. I have thick curly/wavy hair and could NEVER let my hair just dry by itself, it becomes a frizzy mess.
I am suprised that many people say it works better with dry hair which I find the exact opposite. I usually use it on wet/damp hair which I feel sets the straight in. If you want good results you have to be patient. If your hair is course and curly there is no way going through your hair 3 times is going straighten it, that's unrealistic. I normally set the iron on 25 and use it on wet/damp hair in sections running it through about 5 times, combing it in between every couple runs, making sure it is completely dry. I get great results, some people even think I was born with straight hair it is that straight! I only use the iron maybe 1-2 times a week cause using that much heat on your hair everyday will damage your hair no matter what product you use. I recommend using Maxius Beyond Straight for frizz and humidity control and Maxius The End for shine and protection.
I was a bit skeptical at first thinking ironing it wet would really damage my hair but I have found that I get more damage by blow drying my hair than I do with using this iron. Think about it, blow drying and THEN straightening? You're doing double the damage. I am trying to grow my hair longer (its almost to the middle of my back now) so I get my hair trimmed every six weeks and usually by that time I can see the split ends and know I am due for a trim. With this product I can wait a couple weeks longer for a trim.
Before it took me atleast 20 minutes to blow dry my hair and then another 35 minutes to straighten my hair. With this iron I can do them both in about 35 minutes.

I used this flat iron and was amazed. My hair is very thick and it usually takes me one hour to flat iron my whole head. Well, I used this flat iron and was done in 1/2 hour. I love this flat iron so much, I bought my friend one too!
Review: Hair flattener-outer Beauty product: 4 Stars
A pretty Spiffy instrument. Good for the price, easy to use. Tames my thick curly locks with only a few kinks, wet or dry. Must use heat protectant, and it beeps a lot, that might annoy some people, it's also very easy to push the buttons while you're doing your thing. The large plates make for faster work. I would buy it again.
