Review: Works, but doesn't last long

I have oily hair and have tried a few different dry shampoos. I loved the way this product smelled and worked, but it didn't last long. It's priced a bit too high for not lasting long. I think I used it 5 or 6 times before it was gone. Review: Might be good for hair, but bad for your health

I think your satisfaction with RENE FURTERER NATURIA DRY SHAMPOO is probably dependent on how you use it. For my purposes, it works great. I use this three or four times per week where my fine hair tends to look oily first. It allows me to wash my hair the night before, something I have never been able to do without having noticeably oily hair by late the next day. I just use this on my bangs, part and crown the next morning, and I'm set. I must use it much more sparingly than some other reviewers because I get about six to eight weeks use from one can.
For me, the usage warnings are the big downside of this product (and other dry shampoo sprays I've looked at). They state that the product should be used in well-ventilated areas only and the user should avoid inhaling it. I don't know about you, but I do my hair at the vanity in my bathroom, not the most well-ventilated room in the house. I also don't know how I could avoid inhaling the product if I used it much more liberally than I do. Because I'm paranoid about waking up with a heretofore unknown dry-shampoo-spray version of mesothelioma in 20 years, I actually use it outside in the morning while letting my dog out. This has the added benefits of 1) allowing me to walk away from the dry shampoo cloud and 2) avoiding smelling-up my bathroom. The scent isn't offensive, but I think another reviewer hit the nail on the head when she identified it as "old lady." :-) I get an old lady powder vibe, but the smell doesn't follow me back into the house. I simply get on with brushing and styling my hair. This product allows me to give myself a break from washing and drying my hair before work EVERY morning, and that makes it well worth it to me.
Review: Only 5 uses a bottle!

Smells ok, works ok, but there's 5 uses or less in the bottle- AND I definitely do not feel I over used the product! If the product cost less, that'd be ok, but @ $25 a pop that's ridiculous! I'd say the product is a 4+ but the amount you actually get gives it less than a star rating. Review: waste of money

I bought this last year from sefora because everyone said they loved it. My hair isnt even that oily but I couldnt tell it did anything and after using it just a few times the bottle was empty. Its like spending $25 to have your hair poorly shampooed. I usually just use a feminine body powder instead. it's finer than regular powder and a lot cheap than this stuff. Plus there is little to no smell and it's basically just a lightly scented corn starch anyway. Great for giving a little body to my fine hair. the key is moderation and no one will know.
